Previamente se viene argumentando la necesidad de que en marketing contemos con las adecuadas herramientas matemáticas capaces de cuantificar de modo objetivo las variables del mercado.

En este contexto:

"Hacer las cosas con un “porqué cuantitativo” y no simplemente por intuición o “loca necesidad".

De momento llego a esta opción, quizás errónea por demadioado literal:

"To carry out things with a "quantitative why" and not simply by intuition or "mad necessity".

I think this is what is meant, e.g. basing marketing campaigns on e.g. demographic/income data about the targeted customers, not just on some vague feeling about who they are likely to be. (And by the way, 'carry out things' doesn't sound English, nor does 'mad necessity')
