Talking about Monthly Salaries and Basic salaries

Mejora Voluntaria Absorbible: Exceso de Salario Bruto Mensual sobre las cantidades anteriores
I do understand what it means:- but ..
Las cantidades que refleja el Convenio en los distintos conceptos salariales tienen el carácter de mínimos, y es por ello que las cantidades en exceso pactadas individualmente en el salario aparecen como "Mejora Voluntaria Absorbible"

Maybe with the use of "apparent" which is, of course, a synonym of "absorbable" and "visible, observable" etc., since based on your explanation in at least some ways this voluntary improvement is "misleading" or not real, based on your explanation of using the minimum salaries as the baseline.

Thanks, Mike, and everyone else. I have gone for a more "layman's" description of "Apparent Voluntary Increase" (over the agreed minimum salary)

Notes to answerer
Asker:

Asker: these are the answers I have been finding--but is this not something like "performance related payments" or "excess payment over the nationally negotiated minimum" Your answer and that of MikeGarcia may not be easily understood by an employee
