Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) | | Spanish term or phrase: Cajas Generales de Bancos | Hello and thanks de antemano. This is from the annual report of a values transportation/logistics company in Mexico, from the section on production levels. The phrase: En proceso de valores el crecimiento fue de x% en mazos procesados y destaca el aumento en la administración de Cajas Generales de Bancos pasando de xx (número) a xx (número).
Seems to me cajas generales in Spain is something like savings banks but here it sounds more like it may be the bank's cash - what they would normally have in their vault but is being administered by this company and maybe custodied by them as well. |
