Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Annual Report
Spanish term or phrase: afrontado
I’m translating an Annual Report for a Spanish construction company into UK English, and am just not sure what to use for “afrontado” here. Right now I’ve got “weather”, as in, “weathering the crisis”, but I’d like to explore other possibilities.

All suggestion welcome. Many thanks in advance.

CONTEXT:

“Hemos cerrado un nuevo ejercicio, en medio de un entorno económico y financiero muy complicado, y con una fuerte crisis en el sector constructor e inmobiliario. Aún así hemos afrontado de manera más que satisfactoria los retos estratégicos y operativos que se nos habían marcado, logrando unos ingresos de XXX,XXM€, lo que supone un incremento del X% respecto a los obtenidos en el cierre del ejercicio anterior.”

MY DRAFT:

“We have closed this financial year amid a highly complex economic and financial climate, and a deep crisis in the construction and real estate sector. Yet we weathered the strategic and operational challenges we were expecting more than satisfactorily, achieving revenues of €XXX.XXm, which represents an increase of X% year-on-year.”

I would restructure a little bit what you already have:
