Off-board instruments


Explanation:
It refers to instruments (a bond is an instrument) that are traded over the counter. Off-board is trading that is done off the exchange. This is also known as the third market. An example of trading done off-board is Fannie Mae that was delisted from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) when its shares no longer met the minimum required for stocks to trade in the NYSE.
