Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Bank statements
Spanish term or phrase:Liquidación contrato tarjeta
This is from the credit card statement of a Spanish bank, and I find that the terms used are different from the ones used in Argentina. I have to translate it into UK English, and I'm terribly ignorant of financial/banking terms in either language under the best of circumstances, so I'll be enormously grateful for any help I can get! The term is in a column headed CONCEPTO.
I frankly don't know what it means, it appears to be some sort of bank debit but does not stem from a purchase or bill settlement, and the amounts are relatively small. The card operates on a kind of flat rate system.
Explanation: I would simply put "credit card fees" as we don't know for sure what kind of fees are exactly (application fee, annual fee, membership fee, etc). They are obviously fees charges by the card issuer (the bank) for issuing/using the credit card.
Those are bank fees charged for issuing the credit card (either monthly/quarterly/annually etc)
