I am currently translating an internal granularity test validation report and am having some difficulty with this term. It appears in the following context:
El cálculo del índice de Herfindahl tiene como objetivo la evaluación del grado de concentración. Se trata de una medida de concentración estándar que tiene en cuenta el peso de todos los buckets de puntuación agrupados, no sólo el de mayor peso.
My attempt is "grouped score buckets" but would appreciate any other alternatives!

This is one of those cases where the problem is not understanding the term but determining how it is usually expressed. The "buckets" must refer to "bucket" or "bin" sorting, whereby results are initially grouped into categories or "buckets" and then each bucket is sorted (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucket_sort ).
Going by Google results, "grouped score buckets" doesn't occur anywhere, though it is clearly not inaccurate. In fact no expression with "grouped buckets" appears to be commonly used in English, and I think "grouped" is actually redundant; the idea of "buckets" inherently involves grouping. The most common expression seems to be "buckets of values", rather than "scores" or "results", and that is what I would suggest using. "Buckets of grouped values" would not be wrong. You could say "groups or buckets of values".
