Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Self service banking at branches
Spanish term or phrase:Derivación
In a document explaining the self service models to be used by a bank at the branches. All the context appears in tables, so it is relatively limited. Please see the sentences below:
"Coste de derivación/trx incremental"
"Derivación centrada en migrar las funcionalidades core"
"Modelo de atención y derivación"
"Costes asociados de derivación / Incremento del nº de transacciones en autoservicio"
"Costes asociados de derivación (greeters, cartelería, incentivos, otros)"
It also appears simply as a title of a slide showing the number of users likely to use self service.

Hi Liz, you were absolutely right after all, but it has taken me this long to work and plenty of help from others to work out why. I'm adding this link to my other question for reference: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/finance_general/4589483-derivadores.html?pwd=siBt 3 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
On another slide, the heading is "Derivación centrada en migrar las funcionalidades “core”" In the table relating table one section is "Modelo de atención y derivación": and the points within this section are: Incorporar asistentes/ derivadores de autoservicio en las oficinas de mayor tamaño (ej. Argentina)
Desarrollar campañas temporales con asistentes en las oficinas más pequeñas
Necesidad de definir objetivos de migración a los asistentes
There are no sections of plain text that refer directly to derivacion.
Hi Phil, Sorry I didn't explain properly. The self-service area of a branch is basically the cash machines. It's actually a huge powerpoint and sentences listed appear in various different diagrams and tables. On one slide under the heading "derivacion", for example, the following bullet point appears: "Estrategia: - costos asociados; - conveniencia al usuario.
Could you give us a little more context? What do you mean by "the self service models to be used by a bank at the branches?" Is the bank changing the way it deals with its customers? What does that part of the document that's not in table form say?

Asker: Hi Liz, Thanks, but surely this is in a medical context. Did you see the context?
