Explanation: ...and to issue receipts and grant settlements. "Finiquito" and "cancelación" both translate as "settlement" - I suspect it may mean "full or partial payment by way of settlement"
Thank you, philgoddard. I don't know if other countries, but in Ecuador when you say "cancelar" it may mean to cancel something or to pay something.
