Section 3: Income Statement

Comment: Income Statement and Statement of Income are synonyms, although Income Statement tends to be used more often. In both cases, Income is reported for the year at issue.

However, if a company reports a loss in one or all of the years reported, then the term commonly used is "Statement of Operations".
