Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Bank statement abbreviations
Spanish term or phrase: CARG. CHEQUE
The term is used in a bank statement to describe a transaction in the account. From the balance I can see that money has been paid out of the account as a result of this trabsaction. Does anyone know the term stands for or means?

charge for paying in or cashing a cheque

Explanation:
Many banks in Spain charge a small fee for cashing or paying in cheques to an account if the cheque is not one of their own, i.e. it is from any other bank.
I assume that the amount debited from the account is a small and rounded number, perhaps 3.50€?

In that case, yes. "Cheque cashed"

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Michael, thanks for your answer. Unfortunately the debit entry in the account is for a few hundred euros, so I don't think that it could be that. Could it just mean "cheque cashed"?
