Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Bank Contract
Spanish term or phrase: afecciones en garantía
from a bank contract.

I'm having trouble deciding what the proper translation of "afecciones en garantia" is in this context:

Context:

afeccion in this context as well:

agree  Jenette Holyoak: or mortgage charges...from same dictionary, afeccion = pledging, mortgaging!

-> True, Janette - the reason I opted for "pledge" in this case was because of the use of "pignoración", which I believe usually means a type of "pledge" or "loan" or "chattel mortgage" - Mike :)
