This is from an email to a government organization. Speaking about an insurance company, he says:

"Por mis investigaciones se que es una muy buena compañia y con buen respaldo; sin embargo tengo la inquietud con respecto al largo plazo y me gustaria que ustedes como ente del gobierno norteamericano me comentaran como se maneja eso. Pues tengo entendido que las compañias de seguros **manejan reservas en los Bonos del Tesoro americano.**"

Bonos del Tesoro americano I suppose are US Treasury bonds. But I don't get the "manejan reservas" bit.
