Aparece en una enumeración de facultades otorgadas a una persona, entre ellas figuran: endosar cheques, girar cheques contra depósito, girar cheques en descubierto.

Tengo entendido que girar un cheque contra depósito es emitir un cheque por una cantidad de dinero que aún no está acreditada en la cuenta bancaria, pero está por acreditarse. Alguien sabe si esto existe en inglés?
