Spanish term or phrase: pijotilla
From the same supermarket price list (in Spain):

**Pijotillas** o crías - 4,29€/kg.

Any ideas? The suggestion is that these are two names for the same thing.

Thanks in advance, I'll put the other term in separately.

"As with other hake species, the name hake is used interchangeably in English speaking countries as "whiting" sells better than "hake" Technically, however, European hake is very similar to the Atlantic and Pacfic whiting. European hake grow to about 100 cm (3 ft) in length and weigh about 3 kg (10 lbs) Males of this species tend to be smaller than the females."
