Milky Caramel spread (not caramel)

Explanation:
Dulce de Leche is rapidly becoming the sweet to beat with smaller and larger brands alike. Dulce de Leche is similar to caramel, but with a sweeter and milkier taste. Most recently, we've seen Dulce de Leche Gelatin from LuLu's Dessert, packed in single-serving cups, while Edy's Grand Ice Cream introduced Dreamy Dulce de Leche caramel ice cream with caramel swirls last August. The biggest brand name by far is Haagen Daz Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, the poineer in this flavor and it quickly became the fastest growing product. Masterfoods and its launch of M&M's Dulce de Leche candies are available in heavily hispanic markets but you can expect that to change.
Most often, we've seen this flavor in spreads. Eagle Family Foods recently unveiled Magnolia Dulce de Leche Milk Caramel Spread, and Sancor Dairy and La Fey foods also have versions in sweet spread. Sweet spreads are growing in popularity, and spreads based on candies are doing well. But some consumers may want the candy-like sweetness without all the extras, and Dulce de Leche may very well be the answer. Also, OPI Cosmetics named a nail color Dulce de Leche, part of the South American Collection. You can be sure that Dulce de Leche will be used again, as a cosmetic name, in an industry that is forever putting new names on colors and trends

Suerte ... :o)

Dulce de leche (caramel creme)

Explanation:
We frequently include dulce de leche in our articles, leaving it in Spanish but putting an explanation in parentheses. I find caramel creme to be a better explanation than simply caramel. Incidentally, it tastes muchisma mejor than plain old caramel!
