agree  Jenni Lukac: The explanation is correct although the answer isn't. It is chocolate (produced powdered or in block) for making (cups of) hot chocolate - which in Spain is as thick as chocolate pudding.

neutral  Lisa McCarthy: 'Hot chocolate cups' doesn´t work in English.

neutral  Noni Gilbert: Cups of hot choc maybe, but not v appropriate for the context.

neutral  Lisa McCarthy: This is what first came to my mind, but have you tried actually drinking this stuff? It's more 'dunking' than 'drinking' I reckon :)

cooking chocolate

Explanation:
This is a tricky one. "Chocolate para taza" has no exact equivalent in English. I would say. however, "cooking chocolate" is the closest equivalent, since "drinking" chocolate is always liquid or powder.
http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/index.jsp

This is what "chocolate a la taza" it would be in Spain:
"Chocolate a la taza: es el chocolate negro (normalmente, con una proporción de cacao inferior al 50%), al que se le ha añadido una pequeña cantidad de fécula (normalmente, harina de maíz) para que a la hora de cocerlo aumente su espesor. Suele disolverse en leche. Hoy en día, es posible encontrar también este chocolate en los comercios en forma ya líquida."
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate

In Argentina, "chocolate para taza" is equivalent to "cooking chocolate", i.e., plain chocolate to make cakes or other preparations, or to melt with milk to make hot chocolate. Here's a recipe:

½ lata de Leche Condensada NESTLÉ
• 100 g ó 5 barritas de chocolate para taza
• 2 cucharadas de cognac
• 8 vainillas
• 100 g de grana de chocolate
• 1 cucharadita de NESCAFE Dolca
