Spanish term or phrase: en conserva al natural
SPAIN: Really 2 doubts here. Does "en conserva" always mean canned; and how do we say "al natural" in English. I usually understand it as "not pickled"...
"La cooperativa Centro Sur, más conocida como CESURCA, ubicada en Huétor Tájar, es la única cooperativa inscrita al Consejo Regulador, y por lo tanto la única autorizada para su comercialización, en fresco, en conserva al natural o en conserva en aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra, este último mencionado como “sublime” entre algunos chefs de España."

canned/bottled/preserved in brine

Explanation:
Given that it's asparagus, I think this is probably what it means.

agree  schevallier: in brine :)

-> thanks schevallier, it's hard to know for sure whether it's brine or water with citric acid. Either seem to be regarded as "al natural"

agree  David Brown: my jar of asparagus says water, salt and acidifier (but it is neither particularly salty nor acidic"

-> Thanks David. I think the brine used in this type of preserve is very mild.

canned

Explanation:
"canned asparagus"

should suffice, there is simply no other conventional way to put it and I, for one, see no reason to create something that doesn't exist because this is not litterature,

...plus, "canned" alone implies that it is "al natural" (any extra ingredient would be mentioned, otherwise,)

Nevertheless, I still think that most of the time, citric acid or any other mean of preservation/brine is still considered as "al natural" which is why I agree with Gilla

but, if you want your asparagus really "natural", then do not add anything to your description

IMHO ;)
