- Cartografía de focos de calor. cartography of heat focus

Explanation:
or :

Cartography of heat locations ( but I do prefer the first one)

It is possible to replace the word "cartography" by "map" but the first one sounds more "technical"

-> Actually, "hot spot" is common terminology used in identifying hot areas within a forest fire

agree George Rabel: sounds very natural and idiomatic, and the context will not allow for misinterpretations

- Cartografía de focos de calor. thermal mapping/heat island mapping

Explanation:
I'd go with "hot spots," except that the term has a specific meaning in conservation -- these are areas in which a critical number of endangered species can no longer survive. Hence my suggestions. "Thermal mapping" is also used in medicine, so "heat island mapping," though less common (only 35 hits on Google) might be more specific for your context. Here are some examples of both:

neutral David Russi: Hi Muriel, "heat island" is a very specific concept, used in urban geography, just look at the references you provide, that's what they're about.

-> Good point. Also, we don't have any context for the question. So maybe "thermal mapping" is best.
