SPAIN /Valencia:
Is it just me or does this payment method (especially the "a la vista" bit) sound a bit odd?

Instant transfer from bank account
Explanation:
Your term is very little used (only 7 hits) but I think this is what they mean, i.e. a PayPal-type payment:

When you make a payment, PayPal will fund your transaction in this order:
...
***Instant Transfer from your bank account***
https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/polic...

It's a bank transfer but instead of the customer sending the money, the merchant collects it from his bank account (by direct debit).

Pero mira lo que encontré en un documento de una compañía española precisamente:
3. CONDICIONES DE PAGO:

a. RECAMBIOS:
Giro domiciliado a 30 días
b. MÁQUINAS:
Giro domiciliado con vencimientos de cobro pactados previamente.
Especialmente el párrafo b. me parece que corresponde con lo de que "Money is payable ... or when the completed documents are presented, or within a specified period called days of grace.

Asker: But in Spain"Giro domiciliado" is a standing order Giro payment which goes through automatically, so I don't see where the "sight" bit comes in... not my speciality I must add :)

This is a term used in English. But I am not sure if it is the equivalent of what you are asking.
