ROSARIO:
Era! , Mi amor…Era!

FARFÁN:
Lo que siempre he dicho…

LA MARRANA (LO INTERRUMPE):
“Los civiles son una mierda!” (RISAS)"

No estoy segura de entender la expresión. He keeps to himself"?

Asker: Gracias María. Lo malo es que estas son las primeras palabras de la escena y no hay nada a lo que se pudiera estar refiriéndose.

agree  sprout: Or with "That" (That's so...). This option has a great, almost teenaged, Beverly-Hills cattiness to it, which seems like it might be appropriate here... :-)

it's got his name written all over it.

Explanation:
Another alternative. Also "That's him to the core", as above.

--------------------------------------------------

Based on your last interpretation - perhaps, "(He's) Such the/a Presidential poodle!", "lapdog", "But such the President's poodle!", etc. - gossipy negative connotation; "He's such a Presidential cheerleader!"/"He's so bullish on the President!"/"(And) Such a/What a Hawk for the President!", negative/other connotation. Depends on speakers' affect/attitude, etc. This would be a different answer - but your question is essentially new too. - Bueno, unas cuantas expresiones cortas por el estilo < "He supports the President unconditionally". Suerte ; )

Note added at 4 days (2007-09-15 22:02:17 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

"Such the Presidential insider.", "One of all the President's men", "A member/Part of the [President's]inner Sanctum". - Slangy to journalistic sounding. As before, the register of speech, relationship & motivation of the speakers & object of conversation is less than clear - but presumably evident somewhere else in the script. Genre/tone of work also unknown.
