Spanish term or phrase: una pobre mujer que anda por ahí medio loca
A Miguel Ángel, el auditor de guerra lo ha acusado de ser enemigo del presidente y que ayudó a un preso político a escaparse. Miguel le pide al presidente que investigue esas acusaciones. El presidente está al tanto de todo, como se ve en el primer comentario del diálogo. Luego le comenta que el auditor lo odia porque ya había decidido vender a la esposa de Miguel Ángel a un prostíbulo y que Miguel le echó a perder el negocio por casarse con ella.

"PRESIDENTE:
…yo lo sé todo!...yo tengo aquí en mi escritorio, todos los documentos con las supuestas evidencias que recabó el auditor, inculpándote a ti en el caso de la fuga de Canales…yo lo sé todo Miguel Ángel!

PRESIDENTE:
…y el odio que él te tiene, es porque él había negociado en un prostíbulo, a la muchachita que hoy es tu “mujer” por diez mil dólares!

PRESIDENTE:
Y quién pagó el pacto de todo esto?…hum!...**una pobre mujer que anda por ahí…medio loca**.

Lo que he colocado hasta los momentos es "and who paid for it? a poor half crazy woman who's wandering around", pero quizás es demasiado literal y se puede decir de una mejor manera

agree  Carol Gullidge: sorry, you weren't there when I was concocting my answer! I was also going to suggest "some", as it sounds good, but changed my mind, as it wouldn't be appropriate if this relates to a specific woman. As you'll see, I agree with the rephrasing
