Sorry for lack of context... perhaps this is a spelling error? My Spanish is pretty weak. Thanks!
What country is this from? As one of my colleagues said, "picoso" is used a lot in Mexico. When referring to food, it just means spicy. I've never heard it used in any other way. Let's see if other ProZians from Mexico give you their opinion.

I have found this, which coincides with the dictionary definition of "picoso": viruelas 3. Se trata, obviamente, de un cambio semántica sufrido por el participio de borrar 4, a causa de la apariencia poco nítida que tienen las facciones del picado de viruelas. Explanation: I'm not sure about this without more context, but could this be an emotion or feeling(of attraction) that is so strong that the person in question is captivated or put under some spell? When I read this sentence I thought about that song; it lyrics so something like this:
