I am PERUVIAN, and yes, the stamp says "cargo", but we ALSO call it "cargo" or "carta de cargo" in Peru. I have heard it a zillion times.

... is not "Cargo". I'm sure of that ... (we can ask Giovanni to confirm, however). He says that the document is a letter addressed to an agency in Peru. I think that the stamp is the agency's official acknowledgment that it has received the letter.

But, like I explained, the document is called "cargo" as well as the "stamp". There is a whole concept tied to this word. It means that the messenger DID drop it off at the right place and time. It is a proof of delivery.
