El material depositado está constituido por rocas de diversas granulometría hasta polvos muy finos de color gris. El talud tiene pendiente superior a 60 grados y el deposito domina el paraje interno del muelle, escurriendo y lixiviando hacia el mar en su vertiente Oeste de alrededor de 35-40 metros hacia al arroyo salud.
