I am translating a Birth Certificate from Ecuador. The alignment is way off on the document, and it states:
nacido en Alfaro Quito
provincia de: Pichincha....el xxxxx de abril de
I though the the province was: Pichincha and the Canton was Quito; but with the "Alfaro" thrown in, now I am not sure what exactly the Alfaro goes with here? If it is part of the name of the Canton or the Province or exactly how to break down these three terms to state this on the certificate.....
I find many references to Alfaro in Ecuador, but none really clearly place it as a Canton by itself, or with Quito, or with Pichincha so that I am able to distinguish clearly between the three of them...
Anyone from Ecuador or who might be familiar with this subject.....I would really appreciate your opinion on this matter.... In any case, I must list all three, and state the geography breakdown of where this person was born in Ecuador here, so I have to have all three on whatever I decide to go with in this case.......

Alfaro, es un barrio de Quito (que es la capital de Ecuador) y se encuentra en la provincia de Pichincha.
O sea, Ecvuados se divide en provincias, una es Pichincha que contiene la capital de ecuador y Quito està dividido en localidades, barrios o departamentos y un es Alfarto.
Mira hoy internety me funciona malìsimo si no trataba de buscar un mapa de Ecuador y enviarte los links. Un beso (Ojo, creo que es asi, es como interpreto lo que enviasste. Ves me anda malìsimo el teclado e internet, es que no estoy en mi compu, estoy pasando unos dìas der vacaciones.
