El texto dice:

"De acuerdo al instituto geofísico, la sismicidad de la zona es alta. Considerando este valor y los restulados de estudios de sismicidad, se deduce que el sismo de 1972 ha sido el que más ha afectado el área en los últimos 40 años, correspondiendo a la FUENTE SISMOGÉNICA F-2, la más activa, donde ocurre un promedio de sismo de magnitud 4.8 mb cada dos días, todo esto en cualquier punto de la FUENTE SISMOGÉNICA".

Se me ocurre que el término podría ser una variación de "fuente sísmica", ya que "fuente sismogénica" la encuentro sólo en sitios internet de Colombia, Perú, Argentina y Costa Rica, y hay mucho menos sitios en comparación con "fuente sísmica".
