Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Geology
Spanish term or phrase: Carbonífero Continental
From a guide to a biosphere reserve, a series of bullet points outlining its places of geological interest:

Yacimiento del Carbonífero Continental

There seems to be some difference in the way periods are classified.

This site - www.coitm.org/Impresos/tesoros_en_las_rocas.pdf - has it as "360 a 300 millones de años antes del presente", the Wikipedia page for "Carboniferous" has this span for the whole period

So is "Carbonífero Continental" simply refered to as "Carboniferous" in English?
