Clarification request(s) and response
Robert Forstag: 10:52pm Dec 10, 2006: Although not very economical, you would have to say something like: "irrespective of social status or political affiliation". If you insist on a generic term, you would have to say something like "without regard to any differences [whatsoever]among them."

for all

Explanation:
Because this government offers well-being **for all**
OR
Because this government offers well-being **for all equally**

but 'equally' here sounds a little awkward. Any further ideas?

to everyone [regardless of station]

Explanation:
The preposition would really have to be "to" here rather than "for"; in addition, "everyone" works better here than "all".

"Por igual" doesn't necessarily have to be translated here, but I offer "regardless of station" if you choose to do so (with "station" here referring to one's status or standing within society; see references).

"To everyone, equally" obviously will not work in English.

Suerte.
