Spanish to English translations [PRO] Government / Politics / Spain expression | | Spanish term or phrase: "consciente del pozo" | This phrase in the following sentence from a assignment for my translation class. It is from a news article online about the new President of the Generalitat of Valencia. It isn't coming together for me with dictionary definitions of "consciente" and "el pozo". So, I think it may be an idiom.
Fabra, consciente del pozo en el que se ha convertido RTVV, no tuvo ayer reparos en admitir que revisará su estructura y que intentará introducir en él capital privado.
