Spanish term or phrase: Resolución Adoptada
I am translating a document from the Spanish social security office and the cover letter reads:

"Se remite copia de la resolución adoptada correspondiente a..."

My attempt"

"A COPY OF THE ADOPTED RESOLUTION REGARDING MRS...IS ATTACHED"

This does not sound very natural to me in American English though. I am especially unsure of the term for "resolución adoptada." Could this mean "decision taken?"

Having said that it could very well mean simply 'decision taken' - you will have to look at your context. Was this some board or something voting on a resolution, or a simple desision taken by somebody. The original could well mean both.

And now looking further and seeing that it is from a social security office I would change my mind and go with your

decision taken.

Approved Resolution


Explanation:
In Spanish a resolution is 'adoptada'; in English it's 'approved'. When I work for meetings as a precis-writer for international organizations, this is one of the things that always has to be checked, to make certain that the English says 'approved'.
