Spanish term or phrase: Cuerpo de Ayudantes de Archivos, Bibliotecas y Museos
From a summary of someone's professional career in an article annoucing a new appointment as director of a foundation:

... cuenta con el título de Procuradora, y fue la número 1 en el proceso selectivo del 2001 para ingresar en el Cuerpo de Ayudantes de Archivos, Bibliotecas y Museos, y la número 2 en el proceso selectivo de 2005 en el Cuerpo Facultativo de Conservadores de Museos ...

Obviously can't be Corps, which has military connotations - I'm not sure what to use for the best.
UK Eng, thanks in advance.

-> Thanks very much, Phil. Have a good weekend.

agree  translatol: It may not be the ideal translation, but if it's the OFFICIAL one then you have to use it. Anyway, for a non-military usage how about 'diplomatic corps'?

-> Thanks, translatol. I think it works like the following: "The Civil Service Act of 1883, also known as the Pendleton Act, which created a professional corps of administrators, was passed..."

Archive, Library and Museum Assistants

Explanation:
I'd simply leave out "corps" since I consider it to be extraneous (i.e. not "core") to the meaning/purpose.
