Careful!!! There are plenty of different "festejos taurinos"...

neutral  philgoddard: This is a good point, but (a) I think they still count as bullfighting festivals and (b) despite your excellent references, "taurine" has a rather old-fashioned, pretentious ring to it. A lot of people wouldn't know what it means.

  -> "bullfight" corresponds to "corrida/lidia de toros"... What about if "festejos" includes "bullfights with young bulls" or "running of the bulls" too?. There are plenty of different "festejos" involving bulls, at least in Spain. Regards.
