Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - History / Yrigoyen quotation | | Spanish term or phrase: como la Providencia quiso forjarla al soplo de sus impolutas irradiaciones | Hola
Sigo con las citas de Yrigoyen. Esta dice así: Tengo, por ser así, el alma intacta, tal como la Providencia quiso forjarla al soplo de sus impolutas irradiaciones-
la verdad le estoy dando mil vueltas y suena muy forzado.
Mil gracias de antemano por su ayuda |

| | English translation:..as Providence shaped it with the rays of her unsullied spirit | Explanation: "Soplo" can be used as the expression of the "breath of life" or of the spirit within many a religious context. "Radiation" can't be used here as it has too scientific a connotation in En. Therefore swapping the two concepts around gives a (in my view) better "feel" in En., especially by using "unsullied" which again has a quasi moral and / or religious tinge to it. |
