Estoy traduciendo un memorando, cuyo tópico central son las vacaciones colectivas de una empresa.

"En los casos de personal que no tienen vacaciones vencidas ni días pendientes por disfrute, xxx ha decidido **adelantar vacaciones** por vía de excepción."

Todos los términos relacionados con las vacaciones me están causando problemas. Estuve buscando y no los encuentro en los diccionarios. he buscado alternativas en la internet y nada: move up vacations, bring forward vacations no parecen existir. ¡Ayuda!

It is clearly the company which is doing this, i.e., it is not taking the holidays, but granting them. The word grant makes this as clear in English as it was in Spanish.

- I did think of 'to move...forward' but it makes the sentence clumsy

Explanation:
My reading is that the company normally closes down for a certain period each year ('vacaciones colectivas') and this year, exceptionally, they will be closing earlier than usual. This causes a problem for employees who have already taken all their vacations this year, so for these people the company proposes to bring forward their next quota of vacations (next year's, perhaps) so the company can close down completely.

--> something like:
XXX has decided, exceptionally, to allow these employees to being forward their vacations.
