Spanish term or phrase: gastos variables FSE
In the body of the payslip, under the heading 'Conceptos', (along with 'per diem', 'utilities', 'anticipo avril' and 'deduccion comedor')
I can understand 'gastos variables', but what does FSE stand for?

I've been aware of the Fund for a long time as I used to write bids for voluntary organizations who applied to them for support.

Karen, I didn't think you wanted any input on the "gastos variables" because you said in your question that you understood that part of it and just wanted to know what FSE stood for.

Given the context, I'd probably say "variable expenses"and it seems that the whole thing refers to "variable expenses which are subsidized by ESF funding".
