Spanish term or phrase: de todo hay en el mundo

SPAIN: Am stuck for an acceptable way to render this; have thought about "it takes all sorts..." or "whatever takes/tickles your fancy" but feel they might be too frivolous or camp for the context, a reasonably serious article discussing the ethical treatment of animals. All ideas welcome :)

If you read the entire passage, it doesn't seem that the intended meaning is as strong as the ones suggested so far. I think it is only reinforcing the previous idea that there are exceptions.
