Spanish term or phrase: pasillo de tronco, pendiente de agua
I wondered if anybody knows about vocabulary for an obstacle course, military style:

For 'pantano' I have got 'swamp', although this trial takes place in a very dry Canarian island with very little rainfall and I know there are no swamps there.

atravesar un pantano, un pasillo de tronco, una barrera de fuego o una pendiente de agua.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

balance beam, water ramp
Explanation:
"atravesar un pantano, un pasillo de tronco, una barrera de fuego o una pendiente de agua"/"cross a puddle of water, a balance beam, a fire barrier or a water ramp"

It is not a natural swamp but a "puddle of water", as set in obstacle courses:

"**Puddles of water** under obstacles filled to preclude a false sense..."
http://www.armyprt.com/obstacle_negotiation/confidence-obsta... of security.

"Mount the **balance beam** touching one foot within the three foot zone and walk, jog or run the entire length of the three
balance beams."
http://www.usma.edu/dpe/courses/Gymnastics/IOCT.pdf

"From the course start cone, the candidate runs to the outside of the marked course towards the first obstacle, the balance beam. The candidate must **cross the balance beam** in a controlled manner. If the candidate falls off the balance beam, the candidate must go back to the start cone and renegotiate the balance beam."
http://www.mtletc.org/?p=about

"Though slight variations are used in each episode, contestants begin by either sliding down a **water ramp** or being launched by a giant catapult into the course, swimming to the first obstacle."
