Spanish to English translations [Non-PRO] Art/Literary - Idioms / Maxims / Sayings / vigilante: facturas | | Spanish term or phrase: Facturas en Argentina | Hola tengo ésta traducción para realizar, es bien lunfardo argentino y es lo que estamos estudiando, quisiera saber si mi intento está bine. Gracias.
"Con todas esas imágenes y tres vigilantes atorados de angustia en la garganta, llegué a Las Margaritas a las cinco de la tarde. Si las casas embrujadas existen, les juro que éste era el patio trasero. Había tranquera, directivas talladas en tablas de quebracho y una huerta saqueada por alimañas".
Éste es mi intento:
"With all these images in my mind and three croissants getting stuck by anguish in my throat, I got to `Las Margaritas´ farm at 5 o´clock in the afternoon. Let me tell you: if haunted houses exist, I swear of God, that was the backyard. There were a gate, carved planks jointed of quebracho and a garden sacked by vermin" |
