Once again, I have found a definition:

Es una forma de calcular la indemnización, aplicable solamente cuando está expresamente acordado en alguna cobertura específica de la Póliza. En este caso, se indemnizará el daño "hasta el límite de la suma asegurada indicada en el Frente de Póliza", o sea que la suma asegurada es el límite máximo por la cual responderá la aseguradora, sin tener en cuenta la proporción que exista entre la suma asegurada y el valor real del bien asegurado.
