agree  Charles Davis: Yes; since this is for Australia, you could call it the Civil Liability Act, which is what the equivalent statute is called there. // I think you can use either; some legal translators prefer one and some the other.

  -> I never know when to use Act or Law. I think Act is more common in the UK but I'm not sure about other countries. Thanks!

Refundir: Dar nueva forma y disposición a una obra de ingenio, como una comedia, un discurso, etc., con el fin de mejorarla o modernizarla. Considero que "rewritten" sería la palabra más adecuada.- En cuanto a la diferencia entre "Law" y "Act", dejo un link. Espero que sea útil.
