Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Insurance / an insurance field
Spanish term or phrase: operación
The document I am working on is an independent auditor's report on a Mexican insurance company.

The document mentions several times 'Operación de Daños' as a type/branch/field/business line (I'm not sure) of the insurance provided by this company.

I have found many Mexican references to Operación in the insurance field, such as "a Operación de Vida" and "Operación de Accidentes y Enfermedades" ( see here:
http://www.diputados.gob.mx/LeyesBiblio/regla/n211.pdf)

I'm at a total loss on how to translate "Operación de Daños" in this context. I've tried this question in a different format without much luck, so I thought I'd make the term a bit broader.

Anyone out there worked in insurance in Mexico and could explain?

assurance

Explanation:
Suerte!... :)
