disagree  Kenneth Powers: Sorry but this is wrong, copay is after the deductible/excess, so if you have a 1000€ deductible you pay the full price until you reach 1000 then you pay the copay

neutral  Marian Greenfield: franquicia can be deductible (not excess in the U.S.), but since it's per event, I'm fairly sure they're talking about a copayment rather than a deductible. It would, however, help to know the kind of insurance involved...
