Full sentence: "Pude desahogarme sobre todo lo que pensaba y me hacía sentir mal, por medio de los talleres y de las sesiones en psicología, pude restablecer mi relación con mis padres y con mis hermanas y se fortaleció, porque ahora confían en mí porque yo ya no estoy en esos pasos."

Does it simply mean 'I'm no longer involved in this stuff', something like that?
