I was actually thinking of simply using "menu", but perhaps there is a more specific term in English. I know that lanzar would be "launch", and that this is a menu that changes depending on the important contents... I'm not sure here. Thanks for your help in advance. Much appreciated!
:)
Explanation: As in "launch platform"... In IT and internet, a platform describes some sort of hardware architecture or software framework (including application frameworks), that allows software to run. It's where the programs are "launched" from...

BTW I've never heard of "launcher" in this context in 10 years of EDI translation.
Please note: there are other places where the term "menu" is used. I forgot to mention. This is what makes me doubtful. Thanks.

Asker: Hi María! Thanks for the suggestions. I had already, of course, checked the archives, but found that none of the answers offered really convinced me in this context. I should have said so above! Thanks again. I shall check examples of "launcher" in this context and see what I get. It had not occurred to me as a possible option.

Asker: Yes, "platform" seems what I may have been looking for. I was thinking "portal" but knew that wouldn't be correct. "platform" was the word! Thanks Neil.
