Spanish term or phrase: Dimensionar tu plataforma en la Nube

Should this be:

plan the capacity of your cloud platform
Explanation:
"Dimensionar" means to establish the size of something:

"dimensionar.
1. tr. Establecer las dimensiones de algo, generalmente inmaterial."
http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltGUIBusUsual?TIPO_HTML=2&TIPO...

For computer storage, I think the appropriate word is capacity rather than size.

"Plataforma en la Nube" clearly corresponds to the now fairly common term "cloud platform" (although "Nube" is capitalised in the source text I don't think there's any need to do the same in English).

"Cloud platform services, also known as Platform as a Service (PaaS), deliver a computing platform and/or solution stack as a service, often consuming cloud infrastructure and sustaining cloud applications. It facilitates deployment of applications without the cost and complexity of buying and managing the underlying hardware and software layers."

agree  philgoddard: I like this - it's not quite what the Spanish says, but it sounds like these experts are helping with every aspect of migrating to the cloud. I wonder if "place" might be better than "platform" - a platform in the clouds is a bit of a mixed metaphor.

size your cloud-based platform

Explanation:
I don't particularly disagree with Charles' solution if you prefer that, but just wanted to point out that "size" and "sizing" are actually used in English in this context as jargon for "determine the required size/resources".

If I had to disagree ever so slightly with "plan", it would just be that Spanish "dimensionar" also suggests the idea of *provide* with the size in question, not just plan it.

Dimensioning your platform in the cloud

Explanation:
Dimensioning your system. Commonly found, if not to the liking of many.
"In contrast to a traditional applications ... we will concentrate our effort on dimensioning the platform to especially address the pre- and post-processing needs within the simulation- based design chain..."

NOTE: Before anyone jumps in to pooh-pooh my suggestion, I'm not saying I like this term, simply that it is commonly used in the area.

In fact, the asker's own "set up/setting up" would work fine in the context IMO.
