I don't see why anyone would want to temporarily stop receiving a newsletter - you either want it or you don't. Unless there's some context we're missing, it looks like a mistake - they both mean "unsubscribe". I would query it with the client.

baja refers to ceasing to subscribe to or register for the newsletter entirely

but the second refers to ceasing to receive it, maybe temporarily, but not deregister or cancel subscription.

Thank you for the answer. I won't use the word 'resign'. I am translating into Polish. :) (I am asking here, becuase there are not many Spanish to Polish translators, so I thought I might on this forum.)
But I simply don't understand the difference. These phrases must have different meanings, because, as I said, when you entrer your account (online shop) and you dont' want to receive the newsletter anymore, you can choose between these two options.
