Spanish to English translations [Non-PRO]
Bus/Financial - Investment / Securities / Mutual association - 'Asepeyo'
Spanish term or phrase: trabajadores protegidos
The sentence is '...la solidez económica de la Mutua, que nos permite afrontar el futuro con optimismo, al disponer de un adecuando nivel de solvencia para la atención de los trabajdores protegidos'

Does the literal translation exist in English... protected workers or covered workers? This is a new area for me so I'm still researching about mutual organisations. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
RPadley

ASEPEYO - Mutual insurance
Spain | Enterprise
Asepeyo is a mutual insurance fund for work-related accidents and occupational illnesses and falls under the Spanish social security department. Mutual insurance companies are not-for-profit associations of companies duly authorised by the corresponding ministry set up to work together to manage the social security system and provide services to their clients in the following areas:

- Incidents involving accidents at the workplace and occupational illnesses.
- Cooperation in managing payments for temporary incapacity due to common illness and non-work-related accidents.

Furthermore, Asepeyo is an insurer against accidents at work and occupational illnesses under the social security system, whose goal is also to help to create a culture of prevention at the workplace, setting out guidelines for safety, health and hygiene at work. This applies both internally, with the more than 3,500 workers serving the organisation, and particularly for the more than 330,000 mutual insurance companies to which it provides coverage for the more than 2,300,000 workers employed by these companies.
