On supercomputing, I'm not sure "extends" would be the correct term here. Help apprecuated thanks

Tirant is the distributed memory setup of Valencia University; this text refers to an extension to the Tirant network.

You can call the Tirant setup a network/array/system or whatever you fancy as long as the distinction is preserved between each usage.

They call it a "Supercomputer" but that sounds terribly pretentious to me. It's actually an array of 256 IBM blades, according to the uni website.
