Hi Lesley:
The best possibility (and that's all it is) would be "Asociación Civil"..forming part of the registered proper name of an entity.
The Orellana gives the translation into English as:

"legally incorporated body for other than commercial purposes".

This might include "non-profit organizations"..but I confess I'm not familiar with the case.

Explanation:
not sure of the source but usually in newspapers they have (UPI) (EFE) (AP) as the wire service or news agency. I am not familar with AC it really depends exactly where under or next to the article title or correspondents name it is placed.

Check ap.org and see how they have it or prnewswire.com

I thought Clarin was only the newspaper (a major one) not a newswire like EFE or Reuters, but if they are moving up in the ranks good for them. I will check it out, I need to check newswires constantly.
